Installing CS4 Custom Panels

Custom XMP panels for Photoshop CS4 are made up of several files that must be copied to a local folder.
Download and unzip files
You will find one, or both of these folders

Bridge Metadata (optional)

Installation:
Windows users with admin rights:
CS4 file info panel
|

[name of panel] |
|
|
copy entire folder to: |
|
Windows XP C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\XMP\Custom File Info Panels\2.0\panels
Windows Vista & 7 C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\XMP\Custom File Info Panels\2.0\panels |

|
Restart CS4 if already open |
Bridge metadata pane (optional)
|
|
Bridge Metadata
|
|
|
open folder |
|
|
[name of panel].xml |
|
|
|
copy .xml file to: |
|
Windows XP C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\XMP\Custom File Info Panels\2.0\custom
Windows Vista & 7 C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\XMP\Custom File Info Panels\2.0\custom
The panel will be now accessible from Bridge Metadata panel on screen. If not visible, select Edit->Preferences in Bridge and check it in the Metadata list.
